Account Switch Kit

Switching your accounts to Kirtland Federal Credit Union is simple with our Easy Switch Kit! Just follow the steps below using our Easy Switch forms and contact us if you have any questions or concerns. If you need assistance completing these documents, visit any of our convenient KFCU branch locations or call us toll-free at (800) 880-5328 and we will be glad to help.

Step 1: Become a member at KFCU and open an account.

Visit any of our branches and meet with one of our Financial Sales Representatives, who can help you determine what accounts and additional services are best suited for your needs. You can also Open an Account electronically and follow the prompts to begin the process of membership.

Step 2: Complete our Easy Switch checklist.

Complete our Easy Switch checklist to create an inventory of all of your deposits, bill payments, transfers and deductions to and from your current account.

Step 3: Switch your Direct Deposits and Automatic Payments from your existing account to your new account at KFCU.

Complete our Easy Switch Automatic Payment and Direct Deposit Form for each direct deposit you receive on your current account and for each automatic payment being deducted from your current account, and give a copy of the form with a voided check to each of those from whom you receive direct deposits as well as to all companies deducting payments from your account.

Use KFCU's online banking, mobile banking and bill pay to make tracking direct deposits and automatic payments easy!

Step 4: Close your old accounts.

Once you've completed and submitted the Easy Switch Direct Deposit Form and Automatic Payment Deduction Form, and your direct deposits and automatic payments are being processed through your new KFCU account, you can complete our Easy Switch Account Closure Form and submit it to your previous financial institution. Destroy any old checks or ATM/debit cards you have for your previous financial institution and you're done. Welcome to Kirtland Federal Credit Union!

Note: Confirmation that automatic deductions and direct deposit requests have been completed and are being processed may take 1-2 months.
