KFCU National Youth Savings Month Scholarship Essay Contest

As part of our celebration of National Youth Savings Month, Kirtland Federal Credit Union is offering three scholarships ($500, $350, and $250)* to our graduating high school senior members who will enter college or trade school in the fall of 2017.

To win a scholarship, the senior must write an essay on the topic "The best thing I’ve ever done with my own money”. In other words, assuming you’ve ever spent money that was either given to you or that you earned through chores or working, please describe the best thing you ever did with those funds. If help is needed, we suggest visiting BALANCE's Financial Fitness Program page, where you can find free informative videos, podcasts, and other helpful information.
